Let Me Introduce You!

My children all said, “Mom you really should a write post about all of us, so everyone knows who you are talking about.”  Things I like about that statement:

 1) The whole family was engaged in a discussion about my blog

 2) Everyone was so supportive

 3) Children are just as good, if not better than adults, with navigating through criticism, feedback, and ideas.

So without any further ado, please allow me to introduce you to my family!

Ladies first!  Princess Kaylee is 20 years old and is currently attending the University of Oklahoma.  Her dreams are as big as her beautiful brown eyes and I am very excited to see where life takes her.  Her heart is as pure as they come and her love for Jesus is like no other.  Her siblings think she walks on water and let’s be honest, she does.

Next up, we have Karis.  Karis 17 and will be a senior in high school this year.  ::tear:: She is strong willed and will not be defeated.  She is generous, sincere, and will do anything to help others.  She loves kids and has sewn up the local babysitting market.  This girl is going places!  I anticipate this next year will certainly be bittersweet for us all as she moves on to the next big stage of her life.

Now, onto the boys! We will start with Robbie.  Robbie is 7 years old (almost 8).  He is the quintessential big brother and a great role model for the littles.  He is definitely MY child… he follows the rules, plans ahead, is OCD about organization, and hates for different foods to touch on his plate LOL.

Now, onto Benjamin.  Benjamin, “Benja” is 4.  My mother in law is from Thailand and the word “Ja” in Thai means, “my sweet heart.”  So his nickname means Ben, my sweetheart, and that he truly is.  He is the first to say his prayers and is one of the kindest, softhearted children I have ever seen.  But don’t let his sweetness fool you!  Benja most definitely has an ornery and mischievous side!

Oh, my Joseph is next.  Joseph is 3 and a huge fireball of crazy love wrapped up in an adorable little package with longest eye lashes you’ve ever seen.  This kid has no fear.  He learned to ride a razor scooter and bike WITHOUT training wheels at the age of 2.  He can go from I hate you to I love you in no time!  Some might call that bipolar…we just call him Joseph, LOL.

The baby.  The baby is 10 months old ::sigh::.  He is growing, oh so fast.  He is the most even tempered child I have.  You can see in his eyes that he will be a sweetheart but that he is also not going to get left behind.  He started walking at 9 ½ months and can already say momma, dada, no-no-no and meows like a cat.

So this is my crew.  They are all Princes and Princesses to my husband I.  Each one of them brings something different to the table, but one quality they all have in common is love.  They are not afraid to tell each other, “I Love You” and not one of them can stay mad.  Yes, they bicker and fight, but they also smile, giggle, hug, and most importantly, they pray for each other.  They all know the power of prayer and speaking positively toward healing.  They all know how to love and build each other up.  They are just simply perfect.12540743_10205874717851183_8101317871597717821_n
